How to detox, without starving



Looking for a cleanse? Here’s how to actually detox your body:


Eating 1-2 serving of cruciferous veggies day can help boost enzymes in your liver that help remove toxins your body can detox on its own, as long as you provide it with the tools to do so. They've also been shown to reduce inflammation associated with cardiovascular disease.


Cruciferous veggies include cauliflower, bok choy, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, and cabbage.


1 serving = 1 cup ~ size of your fist



Crispy Grilled Brussels:

Ingredients:

- 1 bag organic Brussels sprouts

- 2 tsp Avocado oil

- Sea salt

- Orange juice, fresh orange

- Balsamic vinegar

- Balsamic Glaze



Directions:

Rinse Brussels sprouts. Cut in half and toss in a glass bowl with avocado oil, salt, OJ, and balsamic vinegar. Place in microwave for about 3 - 5 minutes until the veggie is steamed/cooked. Grill Brussels sprouts for about 10 mins, flip half way. Top with balsamic glaze
